CADE Booking Terms & Conditions

The Centre for Advanced Dental Education Ltd
Company number 06777006
Version 1.0 · Effective 13 September 2026

These terms apply to bookings for courses provided by The Centre for Advanced Dental Education Ltd ("CADE", "we", "us"), including the CADE Implant Year Course, made through www.thecadecourse.com or directly with CADE. By booking a course and confirming your acceptance at checkout, you ("the delegate", "you") agree to these terms and to our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please read both before booking.

1. About us and how to contact us

The Centre for Advanced Dental Education Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 06777006, registered office 163a Ashley Road, Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 9SD.

We deliver courses from two sites:

  • Hale Dental & Implant Clinic, 163a Ashley Road, Hale, WA15 9SD
  • Enhance Dental Centre, 116 Lancaster Way Business Park, Ely, CB6 3NX

For any question about a booking, these terms, or a course, contact us at Email us, or call 0161 941 2020 (Hale) or 01353 666895 (Ely).

2. Your booking

A booking is made when you complete the online booking form, confirm your acceptance of these terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy, and pay the deposit (or the full fee where no instalment plan applies). We will confirm your booking by email. That confirmation email, together with these terms, forms the contract between us.

Your place is secured on payment of the deposit and allocation to your chosen site. Cohort places are limited and allocated in order of booking.

If a cohort or site is full or does not proceed, we will offer you the alternative site or the next available cohort, or a full refund of everything paid.

You must provide accurate information when booking, including your GDC registration number. We may cancel a booking, with a full refund, if the entry requirements in section 3 are not met.

Places are personal to you and may not be transferred or resold to another person without our written agreement.

3. Entry requirements — Implant Year Course

You must hold current GDC registration, or equivalent registration acceptable to us, throughout the programme.

You must hold appropriate professional indemnity covering your participation, including supervised implant placement on your own patients, throughout the programme. We may ask you for evidence of this.

You should be comfortable with routine restorative and minor surgical dentistry. No previous implant experience is required.

Supervised clinical placements are carried out on your own patients, under written consent, at the training sites. You remain the treating clinician and are responsible for your patients' ongoing care, supported by the supervising faculty.

4. Course dates and structure

The Implant Year Course comprises thirteen taught sessions delivered over twelve months, together with supervised clinical placement and a two-day CBCT Masterclass held in Manchester.

The programme runs as two separate cohorts:

  • Hale (North) — starts Friday 2 October 2026
  • Ely (South) — starts with the CBCT Masterclass on 11–12 December 2026

You attend your chosen site throughout. The CBCT Masterclass is the one exception and is attended by both cohorts together.

Published dates are provisional. Confirmed dates are issued to enrolled delegates. Live clinical session dates may flex to suit case readiness and patient availability; this is part of the programme design and is not a change to the contract.

5. Fees and payment

Course fee. £11,635 + VAT for the full programme (£895 + VAT per taught session, thirteen sessions). This includes all taught sessions, DTx Studio software, laboratory costs, the two-day CBCT Masterclass, assessment and EduQual registration.

Early bird rate (Ely cohort). Places reserved by 23:59 on Sunday 11 October 2026 are charged at £11,135 + VAT, a £500 saving. The early bird rate is applied to your instalment plan at checkout using the promotional code we provide.

Deposit and instalments. A deposit of £1,750 + VAT is payable on booking. The balance is payable by ten equal monthly instalments at 0% interest:

  • £988.50 + VAT per month at the full fee
  • £938.50 + VAT per month at the early bird rate

Where the early bird rate is taken as a single up-front payment rather than by instalments, the £500 saving is applied at checkout using the promotional code we provide.

Instalments are collected automatically by card. First collection is November 2026 for the Hale cohort and January 2027 for the Ely cohort. Payment of the full fee up front is also welcome.

VAT. All prices are stated exclusive of VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate.

Not included. Fees do not include your travel, accommodation, patient consumables outside the agreed sponsorship arrangements, or the reduced implant fees paid by your patients for programme cases.

Late or failed payment. If an instalment fails we will contact you and reattempt collection. If payment remains outstanding 14 days after the due date, we may suspend your attendance and withhold certification until the account is brought up to date. Continued non-payment is treated as cancellation by you under the Cancellation & Refund Policy, and the unpaid balance for the course remains due.

6. Cancellation, transfers and refunds

Your rights to cancel, including the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, and our refund and transfer terms, are set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Attendance, progression and award

The Diploma requires at least 90% attendance at taught sessions and full attendance at supervised surgical sessions unless an exceptional absence is approved in advance.

Progression through surgical complexity depends on demonstrated competence, documentation and supervisor approval, not on attendance or case count alone. Completing the minimum number of supervised placements does not of itself guarantee award of the Diploma.

Assessment is against the EduQual criteria, with independent internal quality assurance. The awarding decision rests with CADE under the awarding body's requirements. Course fees are not refundable if the qualification is not achieved.

You are responsible for identifying suitable patients from your own practice for your supervised cases. Faculty will support case selection, but delays in providing suitable cases may affect your progression and completion date. Fees are not refundable on this ground.

8. Delegate conduct

You must comply with GDC standards, site policies including infection control and radiation protection, and the reasonable directions of the faculty, particularly during live patient sessions.

Patient safety comes first. Faculty may pause, take over or reschedule any supervised procedure in the patient's interest. This is part of the supervision model and is not grounds for a refund.

We may exclude a delegate for serious or persistent misconduct, unsafe practice, or behaviour that puts patients, staff or other delegates at risk. In that event, fees for teaching already delivered are not refunded, and any refund of the remainder is at our reasonable discretion.

9. Changes by us

We may reschedule an individual taught session or change a venue where reasonably necessary. We will give as much notice as we can. Rescheduling an individual session does not entitle you to a refund of the course fee.

If a named tutor is unavailable we may substitute a suitably qualified tutor, maintaining the same standard of teaching and supervision.

If we cancel a course or a cohort does not proceed, the Cancellation & Refund Policy sets out your options.

10. Course materials and intellectual property

Course materials are provided for your personal educational use. They may not be copied, shared outside the cohort, or used commercially without our written permission.

Software licences provided as part of the course, including DTx Studio training and education licences, are subject to the vendor's terms and last for the duration stated in those terms.

Recording of taught sessions is not permitted without our consent. Clinical photography and video used in teaching remains subject to patient confidentiality and consent requirements.

11. Data protection and course sponsors

We process your personal data to administer your booking and deliver the course, in accordance with our privacy policy at www.thecadecourse.com/privacy-policy/.

Our course sponsorship arrangements involve sharing limited delegate details — name, contact details and practice address — with our course sponsors, currently Nobel Biocare, for course support, account set-up and product training. We will only do this with your consent, which you may give or withhold at booking and withdraw at any time by emailing Email us.

Anonymised or consented clinical material from the programme may be used for education. You will not be identified in marketing without your separate consent.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the course is limited to the course fees you have paid, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or practice profits.

You remain professionally responsible for the treatment of your own patients, supported by the supervision framework described in section 3. Your professional indemnity must cover this work.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the course, please raise it first with the programme team at Email us. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to respond fully within 10 working days.

Academic appeals relating to assessment decisions follow the appeals process set out in the Learner Handbook. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

14. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.

We may update these terms for future bookings. The version you accept at the time of booking is the version that applies to your booking.
